The Thuren Fox 2.0 Reservoir 2nd Gen suspension kit will offer a dramatic improvement in on road ride quality, and offer solid off road capability. This kit will fit 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 Second gen Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. With the addition of the reservoir, these shocks have more damping than a Fox 2.0 smooth body, which means they can handle washboard roads and moderate off road driving with ease. Extended wash board roads would be enough to overheat a normal Fox 2.0 smooth body shock.
We HIGHLY recommend adding the Thuren track bar to this kit to improve steering feel, and correct axle position after the height increase. It's a massive difference to move away from the factory style 2nd gen track bar and dramatically improves the classic 2nd gen wandering steering. All other options are elective. The sway bar and control arms do improve ride however! This kit also maintains full payload/towing spec since the rear leaf springs are unaltered. Unless you add a rear block, we recommend sticking with the XS coils. All other options will leave the truck front high in relation to the factory rear leaf springs.

FITMENT NOTES:
Please note, the Thuren track bar doesn't work with the inverted orientation of the factory sway bar that Carli and many other brands require for their 2nd gen sway bar end links for 1994-1998 trucks. Thuren does not offer end links for 94-98 2nd gens but they most be run with longer travel coils.
This track bar does work on 98.5 and newer trucks running either the Carli/Thuren sway bar end links, or complete replacement Thuren sway bar. On the older 94-97 trucks, you must remove the sway bar, convert to the 98.5+ axle mounts and sway bar, or run the DT Pro Fab track 2nd gen bar which is compatible with all year models, sway bars configurations, and generations.
If you have the PSC Big Bore SG851 gearbox kit, you will need a M14 x 2.0 x 120mm long and 10.9 rated.
*On 1994-2002 trucks, we recommend you check the bolt size to ensure the correct arms are purchased. We recommend taking a 14mm wrench and putting the open end against the threads of the lower control arm bolts. If it matches, the 14mm arms are the correct arms to order. If the bolt size is bigger than the open end of the wrench, the 16mm arms are the correct arms. If you have any questions in regards to this process, feel free to give us a call!
