A customer with a 1987 F250 purchased the the FT 1055a C6 filter, which he used with his stock pan. This filter has a pick up tube connected to the filter with a gasket. Although the gasket holds the tube in place, the tube probably rested on the bottom of the stock pan. The PML pan is NOT designed to support a pick up tube. If the tube should fall out of the main part of the filter, severe damage could result. PML Transmission Pan Features
