Designed from the ground up for maximum tire clearance and unmatched strength, Carli's Fabricated High Clearance Control Arms are everything one needs for enhanced ride and ultimate performance. Carli's control arms are .5" longer than OEM for optimum tire fitment in the wheel well with 3" coils, while the recessed pockets on both upper and lower arms regain needed turning radius when running wide offroad tires.
In the latest revision, Carli moved from a fabricated steel design to a completely billet arm machined from a solid piece of 6061 billet aluminum.
At either end is a machined in house 17-4 stainless ball center spherical joint that is fully serviceable and rebuildable. Having these spherical joints on each end eliminates the kinetic chatter caused by rubber bushing style set ups, in return creates a smoother ride and massive improvements in articulation over the factory joints.
We offer the option to add hardware to these control arms. The two lower cam bolts are often frozen on the truck, meaning they have to be cut off to remove the arms. If you think yours are frozen, you’ll want to replace them. The upper bolt on the passenger side requires the removal of the exhaust down pipe, so we also highly recommend adding that bolt from the options as it makes the installation a whole lot faster if you can cut the stock bolt off and then insert the new one from the outside.

I have an 01 3500 4x4 and a 07.5 2500 4x4. I made my own extended control arms for my 2001 and lots of work and retapping the tube adapter what a pain. I got these Carli high clearance arms as I'm not sure if I'm going with 35's or 37's yet. These are guy jewelry pieces; you almost hate putting them on the dirty side of the truck. They are really quality parts that should last my lifetime on the truck. As to the 35/37 option, if you look at the galleries, Rams with 35's look like they missing something, the 37 trucks just fill out the wheel opening better. Can't wait to get the rest of the parts and finish the suspension upgrade.
These are some heavy duty control arms compared to stock and some other lift kits. The engraved design is pretty cool and you really can fit 37s using these. Ride quality is really good. Haven't felt the teuck ride this good in a while.
Very easy to install, Clearly Labeled to know where they go. Just be sure to clearance any bumps or protrusions prior to installing so the joints can slide in with ease. Also bring your cutter wheel or Saw Zaw and go ahead and order both lower cam bolts. Mine is a 2012 and I still needed to cut after 4 days of soaking.
