If you have a Tradesman or Ram without fog lights, buy this kit. If you have a Big Horn with the large, rectangular halogen lights then you need this kit. Available with White or Amber lenses, and either SAE (street legal) or Squadron Sport lights, this kit utilizes the factory fog opening to pack a Baja Designs Squadron light on each side. This kit can either be wired into the factory up-fitter switches, or wired to a separate switch in the cab that's completely independent of the truck's electronics. If your truck doesn't have factory up-fitters, you'll need to use the separate switch wiring method.
The SAE lights are a street legal light with a 2,480 lumen output per light. The Sport model ups output to 3,150 lumens per light, so it's better suited for use in situations without oncoming traffic. The pro model increases light output beyond what can be used with surrounding vehicles, so be aware that these are only suited for off highway use.

The lights and installation kit are high quality and fairly easy to install. I was initially sent the wrong wiring harness, but CJC Off Road immediately sent me the correct harness after I contacted them. I had a couple minor issues with the installation that were easy to resolve. The wire leading to the passenger side light was a little too short to route as per their instructions, so I just routed it a little differently. Also, there is no way to aim the lights without unbolting them from the truck after they are mounted to the brackets. To save yourself some extra work, be sure to aim the lights before bolting them to the truck. The lights are super solid, look great on the truck, and perform well.

This really is a quality kit. I went with the Squadron Sport lights which are in the middle as far as price and brightness. Very happy with the lights, they are very bright. I now have fog lights on my Tradesman that are much better than anything the factory offers on any trim level. Installation is a bit of work and beginners will struggle.
I recently installed fog lamps on my tradesman, love the look and performance, also intercooler guard, if you turn license plate bracket upside down u can use it!!!!
Nice all in one package to add fog lights to a Tradesman. The Baja Design lights are always solid-(have a pair in my rear bumper too) and the wiring harnesses make it easy with the upfitter connection, even for someone like me that doesn’t like electrical projects-especially on vehicles. Nice improvement all the way around and looks good, and functions better than the oem/sae low profile fogs.
