This steering box brace from Bad Axe is a cost-effective option to reinforce your 1994-2002 Ram 1500/2500/3500's steering box, prolong its lifespan, and minimize steering play caused by a worn box. Steering box braces are especially useful on 2nd gens where the frame has minimal support for the box, and the boxes themselves have undersized internals. If you're re-doing the front end of your 2nd gen, we highly recommend adding a box brace. Please note we have two versions of this box. One is for factory or Redhead boxes, and the other is for the upgraded PSC steering box. They are not cross compatible!
