Carli's 2.5" Back Country 2.0 system was developed for outstanding on-road ride quality, with off road performance when you need it. Custom Carli SPEC Shocks with Carli's proprietary tuning provide enhanced comfort and control while still delivering off-road capability. The Carli SPEC 2.0 Shocks are built specifically for Carli and designed to work specifically with their springs front and rear. Your truck will sit level, have more wheel travel, have plush ride quality, and maintain OEM towing and weight carrying capacity. Please note: Gas systems use custom Carli spec'd Fox shocks, while Diesel systems use Carli's own in house shocks.
We do not recommend running a Backcountry system with stock rear leaf packs, as the shock valving was designed around the softer rate Carli leaf springs, and can feel a bit bouncy with stock leaf packs. If you don't add a rear Carli leaf spring option, certain 2020+ F-250s may need a taller rear block to sit level depending on the trim package. If you find your truck is rear low, we recommend this block kit.

If you want your 8000 pound truck drive like a Cadillac then look no further. These kits are the best! The custom valving of the shocks is awesome.
I have a 2012 F350 King Ranch SRW 4x4. It's my daily driver as well as hunting/fishing/off-road vehicle as well. While I didn't initially want to invest this much money it has by far exceeded my expectations. I went from feeling like my spine would snap when driving over the smallest bump at highway speeds to feeling like I'm driving on clouds. I haven't had the opportunity to get it off-road or do any significant towing yet. If for some reason it doesn't continue to exceed my original expectations I will update this review. I don't foresee any issues. In addition to this kit, I installed the Apex Steering kit as well as the 2.5" Progressive Spring Pack.
The only negative (and it's was my lack of research) the air bags I had on the truck will no longer fit due to the factory block being removed when installing the progressive spring pack. So unless you can fabricate a bracket or find one online, you will need to add the long travel airbags (Carli long travel bags will add a little over $1,000 to your overall cost.)
Overall, I would, hands down, recommend this for anyone looking for a do-it-all suspension system that is the best of both on and off road worlds.
