If you've got death wobble, play, wander or other steering issues, this steering kit is the way to fix it, and fix it right. We've used our years of experience with our own trucks and building customer trucks to compile this collection of the absolutely best steering parts for 2017 and newer Ford F-250/F-350 gas and Power Stroke diesel trucks. Please keep in mind, you don't need every part in this kit unless you want to go all out. The base kit includes Apex HD steering linkage with optional add ons outlined below.

The Base Ultimate 2017+ Steering Package Includes:

Apex Heavy Duty Steering Linkage. This steering linkage is the best option on the market to replace the issue prone stock linkage and joints. With beefy oversized joints and tubing, this linkage is ready for anything, and packs a no questions asked lifetime warranty. While a newer name, Apex has quickly risen to the top to be our favorite Ford steering.

TRACK BAR:

  • CARLI SUSPENSION 2017+ FORD ADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR

Carli worked from the ground up to design the best track bar possible for the 17+ Ford platform, while addressing all the shortcomings of the factory bar. This bar uses in house Carli designed spherical joints at both ends, which are without a doubt the highest quality joints ever applied to a Ford track bar. Coupled with the massive tubing, you get an extremely durable track bar. It's a huge step up from the small stock track bar with rubber bushing joints! Please note this track bar will not work at stock height, as it's designed for 2.5" to 4.5" leveled or lifted trucks. If you need a stock height track bar, we recommend this unit from PMF. It uses FK Rod end heim joints on both ends for durability and strength, and fits stock height trucks.

Steering stabilizers play a key role in fighting feedback from the road. Does your wheel get ripped out of your hands when hitting a one sided pot hole? Changes are you need a better stabilizer. Unlike most options that use normal shocks that are the right length, Carli stabilizers are specifically designed and tuned for steering applications. They also feature a nitrogen pressure adjustment to dial in the driving feel of your truck and fight tire pull. The high mount is a bolt in, factory position replacement. The high mount is great as a high clearance option when used alone, and mounts off the drag link so it's tucked up out of harm's way. The low mount position stabilizer mounts off the tie rod and Carli diff guard. It can be used alone. 
If you want the best of the best, use the dual opposing setup which combines both so that you have the most damping force possible to fight feedback, and the best possible adjustment range and handling. This option also includes Carli's diff guard that's shown in the photos.
Both stabilizers can be adjusted to either be neutral (40-70psi) or push in the direction of extension to fight tire pull with nitrogen pressures in the 70-200 psi range. The more charge, the more the stabilizer pushes in the direction of extension. Use the high mount to fight a right hand pull, low mount to fight a left hand pull, or both for infinite adjustment and the most damping force possible.
IF YOU HAVE A STOCK HEIGHT TRUCK, THE CARLI HIGH MOUNT AND DUAL OPPOSING KITS DO NOT FIT. THESE STABILIZERS ALSO DO NOT FIT TRUCKS WITH DROP PITMAN ARMS. 
BALL JOINTS:

DYNATRAC BALL JOINTS
Dynatrac is our go to pick for ball joints on these trucks, with the highest build quality of any option. We rarely see premature OEM ball joint failure on these trucks, but if your truck is seeing conditions that are pushing the factory Ford joints, Dynatrac ball joints will ensure you never have to replace your ball joints again.

FITMENT NOTES:

  1. DUAL STEERING STABILIZERS - Due to our tie rod ends being 1/8” larger in diameter than OE, modifications may need to be made to dual stabilizer kit, tie rod end brackets to fit.
  2. BDS TRACKBAR – Our drag link is not compatible with the BDS Adjustable Trackbar as the adjuster sleeve on the BDS unit will contact the Apex drag link in operation.
  3. HIGH MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER – Must be mounted in OE position at taper hole in pitman arm side drag link end. We recommend OE style stabilizers from Fox (Part 985-24-001) and Carli (not through shaft stabilizers such as Fox ATS).
  4. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WIDE TRACK 
  5. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH FOX ATS
