This 2023 to current Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 fog light kit from BMC lighting allows you to mount a Baja Designs Squadron and S2 light in the factory bumper opening of your truck. A massive jump in light output over stock, we offer several output options and lens colors so you can fine tune the kit for your needs and use case. The bezels are injection molded plastic, and look just like the factory bezels.

We offer this kit with and without lights, but please be advised that the no light kits will ship with Baja Designs specific harnesses and light to main bracket adapters. This no light option is intended for customers that want to add or already have their own Baja Designs lights. It will not work with ANY other brand lights.

The harness options will run the S2 to your factory fog light switch, and then the squadron to either a stand along rocker switch, or the factory up fitter switches if equipped.

If this kit is a bit out of the budget, we also offer this single fog light kit.

Available Lighting options:
Baja Designs SAE Squadron and S2 (Street Legal)

Baja Designs Sport Squadron and S2 (About as bright as you can use on the street)

Baja Designs Pro Squadron and S2 (Extremely bright)

Kit includes:

(2) 10g stainless steel fog bases

(4) stainless steel custom light upright adapters to center lights in bezel

(2) sets of direct wire upfitter harnesses (S2 to factory fog and squadron to upfitter)

Great Product - Expensive - Needs Better Instructions

While CJC sells the product, this is about the product, not CJC.

The price is a little absurd, I get R&D and the time to design and then make a return, but these come with a hefty price tag, so you'd expect everything to be on point, not so fast..

They do offer it in several light configurations, and while thats great for options, it also means several variables. The instructions, for such an expensive product are less than desirable. A 1/4 sheet of paper with 2 QR codes and then if you go to BMC's site, you can dig around for a downloadable PDF, which describes the basics of how to install the bracket and what you need to do, and If you dig further on BMC's YouTube channel, you will actually find Brian with a dedicated video explaining the different adjustments because he says there's tons of confusion. Its not confusion, its poor instructions!!

It was in this video, that I actually found how to mount my Baja Designs Squadron and S2 light and which brackets to use on which, and where to actually put the washers. They try to be clever and send the brackets with the mounting bolt and washers pre-places, so kudos for that, but again no instructions, which bracket to which light, what direction the bracket needs to go, and no confirmation for the big washers to confirm placement.

While Brian goes on to explain all of the different adjustment options and how to put the light bezel on and how to adjust, what he fails to take into account is whether or not the brackets are level, meaning, the lights are level or parallel to the ground, which should be a huge deal for someone trying to align their lights and make sure they are horizontally straight. Putting a level on the actual bracket when mounting them makes a huge difference, especially when it could mean your light or lights can end up in canted or angled if you only focus on making sure they are in the bezel. Both my drivers and passengers side main brackets were completely different alignment adjustments when it came to putting a level on the main bracket.

Additionally, the mounting brackets for the Baja Designs Lights are too big, so when you go to tighten them down, the bracket bows in the center where they mount to the plate.

It will take some patience and time to get everything just right, just wish for the price Brian did a better job with instructions, light mounting, alignment, where to position the lights in accordance with the bezel and even some tricks and gotcha's when mounting these, like using a level and making sure your main brackets are level, then adjusting them up/down to clear the bezel while maintaining a level main bracket.

Overall, good product, but not a simple one.

This kit has potential but not quite there yet

This kit comes to you in two shipments. CJC sends you the lights and harnesses and BMC drop ships you the bracket kit. The BD lights themselves and harnesses are fantastic. The bracket kit, not so much. The part itself is solid, but the design is kludgy. And the instructions...

As others have stated, the instructions leave much to be desired. In the BMC box, you get the brackets, a bag of parts and that's it. No instructions in the box. You have find your own darn instructions, thanks for your purchase. You can't even find the instructions directly linked off the BMC website. You have to google it and it one of the first results takes you to a hidden page on BMC's website. That makes no sense at all. I found a YT video showing the install of this kit on a 2023 F250, which is what I needed for my same-gen 2024. That YT video is better than BMCs instructions.

The brackets themselves are strong and well made. I did not have any issues with incorrectly bent steel. My biggest gripe are the slots for mounting the lights themselves. The slots are too small for the included 3/8" hardware. Maybe they were correctly sized before powdercoating, but afterwards, you can't get the bolts in unless you hammer them in. But then they won't slide back and forth freely, making adjusting the lights to fit within the bezel 100x harder than it needs to be. You could sand the slot, but why should I have to do that on a kit that costs what this one does?

I've never installed fog lights that fit behind an aftermarket bezel before. Getting the lights aligned to fit in the bezel openings properly took way longer than physically installing the lights themselves. Basically about 90 minutes per side for the alignment. I was at all pleased with that process. You have to make the mounting bolt for the light bracket tight enough that it doesn't flop around and holds position, but loose enough that you can move it. Did I mention that slot that bolt doesn't slide in? No easy way to get at the mounting bolt either once the bracket/light assembly is in the truck. You will be holding the bolt with a wrench while you slide under front bumper to tighten the nut with a socket. About 100 times. I would assume there will be a version 2.0 of this product eventually that makes this easier. My advice is to align the larger Squadron light first. Whatever you do, DO NOT put the metal clips onto the plastic bezel until you are 110% sure the lights are positioned where you need them to be. At least the BMC instructions mentions this.

Also, being that you know what lights are getting mounted (Sport Squadron and S2), and what size the lights are, why not machine the mounting brackets so that the lights themselves get bolted to it in basically the exact spot they need to be instead of cutting a 4" long slot and having the lights slide all over the place? Due to the way the plastic bezels are cut, to fit precisely around the lights, you really only need about 1/2' of adjustment in any direction.

I have a 2024 F250. For wiring, I used the upfitter switches. If you have a 2023-2024 Super Duty, I highly advise you remove the airbox and the battery/battery box. You can then run the wiring under the battery box, out of the way and well protected. Totally worth the 15 minutes it took me to figure out how to remove the airbox and battery box.

The plastic bezels are works of art. I don't think they could be any better. They look OEM and feel like quality parts. Time will tell how well they hold up to Texas sun.

Very durable, but not refined, craftsmanship lacking, instructions non-existent

I have a few BMC products now, including these front mounted fog light bracket kit. This review focuses on the bracket kit, not the lights, the lights are as expected, very well made.
The brackets for these lights is crude, looks like a junior welder cobbled scrap metal together; but it does work, and does fit after several adjustments.
The concept is simple, but the lack of instruction and thought in what's provided is infuriating for the price paid. If you're selling to consumers, do better with instructions. Take the time to put a video out.
There are no labels on any parts, so you're left to figure which side of the truck each piece belongs on. There are not notes explaining which elements of the "kit" to use and which elements of the BD lights to use. The bolt diameter provided in the kit would not fit through the smaller "kit" bracket so i had to go to purchase smaller diameter. I consider myself to be very handy, but the amount of time wasted could bed dramatically reduced with set of instructions that could be made in 2 hours.

Pretty good overall but left something to be desired

I installed with Baja Designs Sport lights. I am very pleased with the quality of the replacement plastic trim piece. The metal fabricated parts leave something to be desired though. The large metal brackets were not symmetrical and the attachment tab angles varied by 7 degrees from the passenger side to the drivers side. I tweaked them with a 15" Crescent wrench. The mounts for the lights were all bent crooked like they weren't stuck in the brake straight. Thankfully there is plenty of room for adjustment, but my life would've been a lot easier and it would make it easier to aim if things were straight to begin with. The hole to secure the factory harness was way too far away to reach on my 2024. I would also like it better if there was a place to attach the rubber molding again.

Install is pretty straightforward overall but these were some of the worst instructions I have ever seen. For example, the kit included 5 giant washers - is there a specific place they are supposed to go? No idea. Is there a reason they are so thick? No idea. Is one extra or am I missing some? No idea.

Overall the trim quality and OEM look is great and why I like the kit. The metal brackets are disappointing.

Worth it

10/10 recommend if you are on the fence. Brings a new light and look to the front end of the 23+
