Note there are two versions of the stock GM shallow pan. They have the same depth. The older version is primarily found on 700R4 transmissions. This PML pan, part number 8650-1, can replace either style GM shallow pan. |

These are the earlier models of these vehicles. The later year models have exhaust or frame cross members running under the pan and our later model year pan, part number 9427, is designed with a step for clearance on those vehicles. The filter supports are the three cylinders in the middle of the pan on the inside. These filter supports are designed for the 700R4 and shallow 4L60E filters. Optionally, this pan can be machined for a temperature sending unit. The pan has bosses on the passenger's side and the driver's side that can be machined. PML has a machine shop and can drill and tap to your specifications. Please call to order machining. The drain is on the driver's side. Shift Cable Mounting BracketYou may have to modify your shift cable mounting bracket to use this pan.
