The Back Country system offers a comfortable on road ride, but packs more damping and big hit absorption capacity than the Commuter system. If your truck is doing dual duty on the street and dirt, but the King Pintop system is out of the price range, this is your system. In fact, it's probably the best bang for the buck suspension performance gain you can bolt onto a 2017+ Super Duty truck and offers the best on and off road ride short of the E-Venture.
At the heart of this system is completely custom Carli spec 2.0 reservoir shocks. Unlike other brands that use off the shelf shocks, Carli went to the drawing board to design a completely custom and tuned shock for the 2017+ Super Duty platform, with unique valving for both gas and diesel trucks. These Remote Reservoir Shocks provide users with a comfortable, greatly improved on-road ride and ample off-road capability.
We do not recommend running a Backcountry system with stock rear leaf packs, as the shock valving was designed around the softer rate Carli leaf springs, and can feel a bit bouncy with stock leaf packs. If you don't add a rear Carli leaf spring option, certain 2020+ F-250s may need a taller rear block to sit level depending on the trim package. If you find your truck is rear low, we recommend this block kit.
This system fits Ford F-250 and Ford F-350 4x4 trucks from 2023 to Current
Please note if your truck is a 2023+ Platinum/Limited trim equipped with factory headlight angle / load scale sensors you will need these brackets to fix the sensors in place and remove the sensor linkage.
