Carli Suspension's custom tuned Back Country 2.0 shock package is a massive upgrade over stock, and uses completely custom spec Fox shocks with lengths and valving designed around the 2014+ Ram 2500 platform. There's even unique valving for both gas and diesel trucks. These shocks build on the on road comfort of the Commuter package, but thanks to the reservoirs, have more ability to dissipate heat. This takes them capable to tackling long washboard roads with ease, and allows Carli to tune in more damping for better control on harsh g-outs and dips. These shocks are hard to beat for the price!

Immediately noticeable.

Coming from the fox commuters this is an IMMEDIATE upgrade. The ride is so much smoother my wife even noticed and asked what I changed. I hit every bump and pothole I can find now just to laugh at how it just soaks it up and you don’t feel anything in the cab. My NEIGHBORS asked what I changed because they don’t hear my truck rattling down the road anymore in the neighborhood. On the old shocks everything in the bed would bounce around. Definitely glad carli made their own shocks!

A MUST

I Initially installed the Thuren 2.0. Shocks with Thuren coils. Which are good and changed the ride of the my 22 Powerwagon. I just felt it can be better and did the Carli Backcontry shocks deliver. It made it much better in every aspect. If you’re trying to decide over the 2.0 without the reservoir and the Opencontry it’s simple. Get the Carli Opencountry hands down.
