18 Power wagon thuren leveling w fox 2.0

I purchased the thuren leveling kit with the fox 2.0 reservoir shocks, thuren track bar also the rear shock option. The ride is much smoother than stock for sure but where I really noticed it was on the hiway it was super smooth really a great ride, I have also towed with the kit since I installed it rode like I was on a cloud extremely soft but not in a bad way. I am very satisfied with my purchase from CJC, fast shipping, everything was perfect. I have 35's on the truck currently but looking at a new set of wheels an some 37's to put on in the future also was thinking of purchasing the carli sway bar, radius arms and a few other goodies. Installation was really easy I did it in the driveway with jack stands and a jack the hardest part was drilling to mount the reservoirs oh also the torque of 200+ foot pounds while laying on my back for the track bar other than that not too difficult for the average person with the right tools. Overall very happy with my purchase from CJC an how the truck turned out.

Great upgrade!

My goal was to smooth out the ride for my Power Wagon. This Thuren kit exceeded my expectations and the quality it top notch. I did the installation in stages. First the track bar (made for a big improvement in the smoothness of the front suspension and the front end felt much more planted). The track bar is a must and it did clear my AEV front cover. Second was the shocks (softened and dampened the ride and made for an improved response over bumps). Last step was to install the springs (raised the front end 1 1/2 inches and leveled out the truck perfectly). Overall I am very happy with Thuren level kit and wished I had done this years ago.

Huge Improvement to 2021 Ram Power Wagon

I purchased the 2021 Ram Power Wagon about and initially slapped on a crappy spacer kit to lift the front end a little and get ride of the rake. The spacer kit lifted it about 2.5 inches and rode terrible. Going in I knew this was a short term solution while I shopped a longer term solution. My needs were to have it be very smooth on road but also handle really well on medium to low level 4x4 trails, I wasn't going to rock crawl or anything with this truck, but did want to get thru medium obstacles. I also from time to time tow a 26 foot boat and RV, so I wanted it to handle this too. It does help that I have an add on aftermarket air suspension kit in the rear with original coils.

I looked at both the Carly and Thuren suspension front lift kits. The Carly looked great and sounded great but was definitely more expensive. The Thuren kit comes with a 1.5 inch level lift for the front and a new front track bar to get all the geometry in the front back to stock, as well you can just add on the rear shocks. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Thuren kit, mostly because it seemed to fit my needs exactly and was also cost effective.

I got and installed the kit myself, well mostly. I did go ahead and install the front and rear shocks and front coils myself. This part was actually pretty easy. The rear shocks were super simple, took me less than an hour. The front was easy too, I made it easier on myself and disconnected the front sway bar first. You do have to cut out part of the inner fender liner and drill one hole on each side on the coil bucket to mount the remote reservoir. Again, all pretty easy. I went to start on the track bar and thought to myself it would be much easier to take it to a 4x4 shop locally and have them install it and loosen and re-torque all the front suspension bolts to keep bushing from binding up. I just didn't feel like doing this myself and having the hassle, I could have done it but didn't want to. I took to a shop and they buttoned it all up for $225.

The ride before and after is like 150% better. I haven't taken off road yet but some of the roads around my house are worse than most 4x4 trails. Anyways, the new Thuren Fox suspension is amazing, it handles amazing, straight and true, soaks up all the bumps, no bump steer, no sloppy or bumpy ride anymore. The 2500 drives and handles more now like a 1500, more nimble. Kit is amazing and so glad I got this kit, it so far seems to fit my needs perfectly for all under 2k out the door with most of it installed myself.

Thanks CJC for the great YouTube channel and videos as this was very helpful to make my decision easy, and thanks to Thuren for making a great suspension lift kit all valved and made exactly for my Power Wagon. (btw, I had a Jeep Gladiator before, and this Power Wagon is way better for my needs, so comfortable and is just an absolute BEAST! oh, and lastly I was also able to fit 37 inch BFG KM3s on with no rub with OEM bead locks)
