Carli's Backcountry 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best ride on and off-road on a budget. The Back Country is made for anyone that wants to have a little dirt-road fun in their 8,500lb truck without losing the on-road ride quality or function. Utilizing custom Carli SPEC 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shocks, Carli has developed a shock tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, towing/hauling as well as slow to mid speed off road use. The Carli SPEC 2.0s are aluminum shocks that will stand the test of time, even when exposed to the elements. They’re constructed with bushings in the rod ends for long-lasting, maintenance free performance. This system rides best with the full progressive leaf springs and 17” or 18” wheels on, 35” Toyo M/T at 40F/35R. Both of the aforementioned are strongly suggested. We also recommend the purchase of a set of extended control arms to shift the axle forward to its new center of travel. High clearance arms are required to clear a 37” tire.
**2010-present vehicles have 2 possible sizes of Sway Bar End Links. Place a socket on the nut that compresses the rubber End Link bushings; fitment of an 18mm socket will indicate the need for the 12mm part number.
This system fits Dodge Ram 2500 and Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 trucks from 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.

WHEEL/TIRE FITMENT
This system will fit up to a 35” tire with stock control arms on 17”-18” wheels with 5.75-6” of backspacing (including factory or near factory spec. wheels). We recommend running a wheel no more than 9” with 5.75” of backspacing with High Clearance Control arms and Full Replacement Leaf Springs to allow 37” tire fitment.

Backcountry kit is great quality. I’ll have to piece the optional parts on overtime but I love the bang for buck of the basic kit.
I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Cummins with heavy aftermarket bumpers and a Warn 12k winch on the front. I had previously lifted the truck many years ago (I bought it new) but I was never happy with the ride of the truck on or off road. After doing a great deal of research I concluded that Carli was going to be the best avenue for me. More expensive - yes, but this is a truck I plan to keep for a long time and I look at it as an investment for the long term. I opted for Backcountry System along with new control arms and the full torsion sway bar. What an amazing ride! My truck rides like a brand new truck. So quiet, comfortable, predictable (none of the things I had before). I guess the word I would use to describe the feel is Glide. It is just such a smooth ride for a beast of a pickup. I also have a Leer topper on the back and the full drawer rollouts in the bed. I did not opt for the full leaf package because I want to see how it rides with the changes I made and with the weight already in the back.
Nicest ride I’ve ever had. My truck feels luxury with this new suspension. Can’t recommend this kit and better from Carli.
